Departed Soles Brewing Company opened its doors in Jersey City, New Jersey in 2015, becoming the first modern microbrewery to open in the bustling city. Conveniently located a few blocks from a plethora of mass transit options, we're easily accessible via NJ Transit, PATH Train, Light Rail, Ferry, or a zipline*. Please drink responsibly and with moderation when visiting the brewery.

Departed Soles produces a cornucopia of Craft Beer options, but we are proud to be New Jersey's first and only brewery offering a vast selection brewed with 100% Gluten-Free ingredients, held to the standards of #DefinitelyNotGlutenFree Craft Beers, fermented in dedicated tanks, and canned on a dedicated line. Our brewery also goes through a proprietary cleaning process before handling gluten free beer, and GF ingredients never come in to contact with glutenous ones.

Everyone deserves a well crafted beer, and to enjoy the camaraderie around it.

In the early 2000s, we were inspired to research Gluten Free Beer when our friend, Chris Ward, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. After his passing, it became our mission to create a place that had a tap list as diverse as the city we're in... where everyone could enjoy a beer, and create memories with friends they'll never forget.

DOGS FRIENDLY BREWERY

No need to leave the pups at home!

We love our doggos, and know you love yours too. You love going out, but hate leaving them at home. Well, have no fear! They can come with you for a beer! Departed Soles welcomes well behaved pups, we just hold them to the same standards as our human friends (clean, don't make a mess, and not too loud)... plus remain on a leash!

Indemnification And Trademark Policy

American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company respects the intellectual property rights of others. We have a policy of rejecting events, names, artwork, product submissions, etc. that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws. Pursuant to Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512, we have implemented procedures for receiving written notification of claimed copyright infringement and for processing such claims in accordance with such law. Assertions that an entity’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right is being infringed by a user of American Craft Beer, LLC’s space, products, or services, shall provide written notice to the following agent for notice of claims of infringement: Legal Department, C/O American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company. PO Box 272. Jersey City, NJ 07303. In order for us to respond to a notice, it must: (i) contain your entity’s physical or electronic signature; (ii) identify the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property alleged to have been infringed; (iii) identify the allegedly infringing material in a sufficiently precise manner to allow us to locate that material; (iv) contain adequate information by which we can contact you (including postal address, telephone number, and e-mail address); (v) contain a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted material, trademark, or other intellectual property is not authorized by the owner, the owner's agent, or the law; (vi) contain a statement that the information in the written notice is accurate; (vii) contain the USPTO registration identifier and category identifier for the alleged mark, and (viii) contain a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right owner.

By working with American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold American Craft Beer, LLC d/b/a Departed Soles Brewing Company and its affiliates harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to your use of American Craft Beer, LLC’s Space, Products, and the Service, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any rights of another. While American Craft Beer, LLC respects the IP rights of others, Fraudulent Representation when submitting such a claim shall subject the claimant to legal action including, but not limited to, damages, legal fees, revenue losses, product cost replacement, and emotional distress. American Craft Beer, LLC does not respond to bullying tactics by entities, no matter their size or strength, and will not respond to false claims or egregious assertions that mistake clear parody for infringement, or non-class-specific trademarks for its usage. Parody is protected by the First Amendment and any entity that attempts to stifle our business by negating our First Amendment rights shall be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law and any costs associated with defending these Constitutional Rights.
